Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and member of SSC's board since 2011. She is the founder and co-artistic director and artistic director of the newly established theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she also was SSC's costume designer, producer the composer/music director and as the text coach. In her final year she was the lighting designer and director for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble until the end of last year, when she began her first directorial experience. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Alongside acting, she's also appeared on a range of games programs. She was raised with siblings and two brothers living in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard Post. Post's poetess wife Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she learned and cheered. She attended Pomona College for a short duration and graduated in Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. As a personal note Post was earlier married to Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been with writer, actor and actor Michael A. Ross with whom they have two children. She is a wonderful actress as well as the perfect mother and wife. Post is an example for many who work in Hollywood.
