Andrea Navedo is an American actress and published author. She began her acting career by appearing in soap operas One Life to Live & Guiding Light, and later had numerous supporting roles on primetime Television. Andrea Navedo is an American actress-singer who was born on the 10th of October, 1977. She was born in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo's professional acting began in soap operas. Navedo was in the ABC soap production One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. In 1999 she joined on the team of CBS soap show Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her film debut in films with a minor role as a minor character in Girl 6. She then played for the first time in New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo played on Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the one year following. Navedo played the role of Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC series Law & Order from 2001 until 2004. Later, he starred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in films like El Cantante, Remember Me and many more. Navedo was a regular character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 until 2013. Superfast! She was a star in the show's comedy.
